Dark Matter Characters Î eBook, ePUB or Kindle PDF È [Read] ➲ Dark Matter ➮ Blake Crouch – Gym-apparel.co.uk Jason Dessen is walking home through the chilly Chicago streets one night looking forward to a uiet evening in front of the fireplace with his wife Daniela and their son Charlie—when his reality sha JaImpossibleIs it this world or the other that's the dreamAnd even if the home he remembers is real how can Jason possibly make it back to the family he loves The answers lie in a journey wondrous and horrifying than anything he could've imagined one that will force him to confront the darkest parts of himself even as he battles a terrifying seemingly unbeatable foe. What with all due respect the absolute fuck was this bookHow do you even start getting over this How does that happen to someone I feel verymmmmm what's the wordconfused lost so thoroughly mind fucked I swear to god my soul has aged for an entire century since I started this book I wish I could just hollow out a loaf of bread fresh out of the oven and lay in it for a week Or maybe just sit on top of a mountain drink some oolong and not think for a month or two I don't know Maybe Nasa can fling me into Jupiter to see the inside of that hurricane I just don't have the energy to be a person right now—this book really wiped me out and I reckon I'll need several days to recover emotionally “If there are a million ponds out there with versions of you and me living similar and different lives there’s none better than right here right now I’m sure of that than anything in the world” Here's a summary of Dark MatterYou are going to be thrown into emotional chaos lose your mind and also fuck you lolPretty muchThis was crazy Like mind fuckingly crazy I don't even know how to begin to explain it The only thing I know about this book is that I don’t know anything and I don’t even know if I know that that wellSometimes while I’m reading I’m like okay I got this My thoughts would start off in one concrete area and I’d have a solid ground to be thinking from A nice launching pad for a complete thought process And then—PLOT TWIST And my thoughts would just take a wrong turn except instead of a slight detour I’ll end up in some third lower dimension where I can taste sounds and hear colors or something “We all live day to day completely oblivious to the fact that we’re a part of a much larger and stranger reality than we can possibly imagine” I'm really starting to think that everything was better in the early 2000s especially my ignorance of the multiverse theory and The Lord of The Rings movieNow Well now that I have read this book I’m sometimes up during these early night self destruction hours wondering how many of my alternate universe selves are dead and thinking about all the parallel universes and different versions of me and how in one universe I could be a graceful ballet dancer Iron Man might be my least favorite superhero or I might think One Direction are good or—god forbid—I could hate CheeriosSomeone need to collapse the multiverse immediately I’m going to SCREAM drops dramatically to the floor We’re all just wandering through the tundra of our existence assigning value to worthlessness when all that we love and hate all we believe in and fight for and kill for and die for is as meaningless as images projected onto Plexiglas Honestly though this book changed me Like who am IYou know those moments when you look in the mirror and you think holy fuck that’s me Because for some reason it feels like the person you’re looking at in the mirror is a total stranger and you begin reflecting on the insignificance and impermanence of life and thinking about how you were miraculously born on one of the few planets out of 100 billion in our galaxy that are capable of supporting life through a delicate balance of heat size and chemical bonding How you’re just an insignificant blip in a solar system in a galaxy in the infinite structure of the universeand for a few minutes you seductively slip into existential melancholyI had that moment at 4 am right after finishing this book and I couldn't sleep at all because that mineral that decides whether you sleep melocotón or whateverit wouldn’t stop fucking screamingEven worse I've had to confront a lot of hard truths in my dreams afterwards—my subconscious didn't have to do that and I believe Blake Crouch owes me so many apologies Just the other day—and I wish I was making this shit up—I had the most unrealistic and also horrible nightmare and I have never been so happy to be fully conscious and participating in reality; if you must now it involved an alternate timeline where every single life form is Dnald Trmp shudders I know this is probably the least informative review of this book that you'll ever read but in my defense I still have no idea what the fuck I just read can't handle it and goes to sleep

Dark MatterJason Dessen is walking home through the chilly Chicago streets one night looking forward to a uiet evening in front of the fireplace with his wife Daniela and their son Charlie when his reality shatters 'Are you happy in your life'Those are the last words Jason Dessen hears before the masked abductor knocks him unconscious Before he awakes to find himself strapped. I loved the premise of this storyAre we really happy What if we made different decisions in life What if we could live out choices we never made but wished we didWhat if we went left instead of rightStraightBackwardDiagon AlleyHarry PotterThe premise was very interesting The stuff about the box and the multiverse and even the science at times was interestingWhy couldn't you pull that off Andy WeirThe plot is so fast paced and relentless Even if you aren't fully invested you want to keep going because it's so easy to keep goingFew paragraphs have than two sentences Most have just oneOr just a few wordsOr a listSausagePepperoniCheeseBaconI use the word paragraph looselyBlake Crouch doesn't use paragraphs at all SometimesSentencesWordsLittle descriptionAll plotAll actionLots of running Guns Murder kind of SurprisesFamilyLoveScienceIt's all there This book really just wants a few hours of your attention That's all It doesn't need you to think too much about it and it doesn't need you to remember it a few weeks later when you're doing other important stuffIt just wants to hang out and take you on a little ride for the weekend and then let you off to get back to your real lifeKeep your arms and legs inside at all times Until the ride comes to a complete stop Thank you for choosing Dark Matter We know you have choices when it comes to science fiction thriller books and we thank you for choosing this one to entertain you todayThe MartianHarlan Coben any of themNo comparisonsI can see this being made into a movie Something like The Matrix Seems like Blake Crouch has all of his stuff turned into TV shows these daysWayward PinesSome other show on TNT I thinkI don't know enough to really comment on thoseBut I know they're there They'reTheirThereThey're there in their whateverThis is written just like that young adult trilogy Chaos WalkingThe Knife of Never Letting Go is a better bookBut that's just me I don't even know why I need to say that They're different books They're there and they're different books for young adults and their enjoyment there Yes they are They'reHello thereI do think if we could really do what this book talks about or if there really is what this book says there is boy that would be wild and I think our heads would explode trying to rationalize itBoomPowZapZap only if our heads explode because of a Taser or a laser beam I guessAnyway if you made it this far I'm sorry I think you should read this if you want a fun thrill ride one day or two Don't expect much from Dark Matter and it will get the job done Zap
